Brief Grounding Of An Idea: A Guided Meditation For You
Copyright 2006 Marshall House
Purpose of this Meditation
The purpose of this guided meditation is to help you to ground an idea. That is, to help an idea of your choosing to manifest. In my view, it is easy to have an idea, even a brilliant idea; it is not so easy to manifest it if our contradictory thoughts get in the way.
Instructions
Find a comfortable place, sitting or lying down, where you can be fully relaxed and open to the ideas and energy of this guided meditation. After settling down and before reading, take three long, deep breaths to calm and empty yourself.
Reading this Meditation
This guided meditation is designed for you to read aloud to yourself or to someone else. For yourself, you may find that creating an audio tape recording is particularly effective. Speed reading this meditation will not accelerate spiritual progress! In fact, speaking slowly in a monotone is beneficial when guiding this meditation, even though such an approach is generally frowned upon in public speaking.
The designation “……” indicates a pause, during which you may choose to be quiet or close your eyes and experience whatever comes to you. The …… may look awkward as you glance at the page. However, when you are reading the meditation, it serves as a reminder to slow down generally and pause at that place.
During the meditation, you will be instructed to identify an idea you want to manifest, which will then be referred to as (your idea). In place of (your idea), read or think the idea you have identified or read “your idea” if you are reading this to someone else.
The Meditation: Brief Grounding of an Idea
Breathe in your essence. Your essence is who you are. Your essence is pure and clear. …… Receive it. …… Let it flow downward through your body, through the various layers and levels of who you are. ……
Let energy flow from the spiritual layer downward through the mental layer, into the emotional layer and then into the physical layer. This is the direction for manifestation. Experience energy as it flows from the top down. ……
Anchor the energy by moving it down through the body, through these layers and levels, down to the feet. …… Linger at the feet so this magnificent energy from above becomes so familiar to the feet that you know easily when to step forward, move back, or stand still. …… Let your feet continue to vibrate so they place you exactly where you need to be, when you need to be there. ……
From your feet, follow the energy further down, into the earth, and then down into the center of the earth. …… Anchor the energy at the center. You may find it helpful to envision tying a knot in the center of the earth with a cord that flows downward with the energy. ……
Once again, open at the top to allow vibrant energy to flow into the energy field and flow downward. ……
Now, shift your attention to the bottom of your energy field and change the direction of the flow of energy. By opening at the soles of your feet and the base of your spine, you welcome up the earths vibration. …… Rich, thick, beautiful energy from Mother Earth flows upward. …… It flows up to support you, …… to bring the essence of the ground up to you, …… to help you know, without a doubt, that you are in the right place at the right time. ……
Align now with your life mission and higher purpose. …… Also align with your intention for the idea that you wish to manifest. …… Take all the time you need to identify the mission, purpose, and intention. …… Relax. ……
Now, name an idea that you want to manifest. …… Notice if it is solid enough to be brought into manifestation. …… Make it more solid and dense, if needed, by drawing more Mother Earth energy into it. …… As soon as you have named this idea, relax into the energy that flows from the top down. …… Relax and open. ……
Focus your attention at the top of your head. …… Envision (your idea) at the top of your head. …… Slowly, allow (your idea) to move downward, down through the layers and levels, down to the feet, and down into the center of the earth. …… Notice any resistance or heaviness or discomfort. …… Ask (your idea) if it wants to manifest in your life. Listen to the answer. ……
Rather than trying to force (your idea) to manifest, observe if (your idea) flows into the earth, easily and effortlessly. You will not benefit by trying to manipulate (your idea); instead, be in the flow. Notice and appreciate. ……
Notice if you remain grounded in this process. Notice if (your idea) is grounded, joyous, ready. If not, let it go! If so, let it go! If it wants to change, let it change.
When both you and (your idea) are joyous, (your idea) manifests in your life!

Merry Christmas!
The First Noel–A Christmas Meditation
The First Noel is of French or English origin dating back to the 13th century. Originally derived from the Catholic ”Miracle Plays” of the Middle Ages, it tells the story of Christmas from a biblical perspective beginning with the angelic announcement of the Savior´s birth to the shepherds of Bethlehem.
Our video is in keeping with the tradition of the ”Miracle Plays” of old, in which the story of Christmas is told, not by actors and actresses, but through the beautiful medium of traditional artwork and song. For our most recent updates–including newly added Christmas music, please visit our website at: catholicharboroffaithandmorals.com To view this and all of Catholic Harbor´s videos in high definition, please visit: catholicharboroffaithandmorals.com
Celebrating Your Baby’s First Noel
If the best gift possible – your new baby — arrived just weeks before Christmas, you’re probably too tired to even think about holiday festivities. But you needn’t let the excitement sap your spirit. Instead, you and your newborn can celebrate her first Noel in one of these three ways that won’t wear you out.
1. Baby’s first tree. Okay, so maybe you won’t be trekking into the wilderness to cut a fresh tree this year. Baby’s first Christmas tree can still be special, and this one won’t break the bank or your back.
Choose an artificial, table-top tree and decorate with baby items. Brightly colored rattles, binkies, and teething rings give a festive touch and can be put to good use later. Top it off with a diaper angel. To make, take a cloth diaper, stuff with a small handful of cotton balls for the head, gather cloth together beneath the head, and tie with a festive bow of green and red curled ribbon. Using a yellow pipe cleaner for the halo, shape a four- to five-inch piece into a circle and poke the remaining straight section through top of diaper fabric, securing to angel.
Once the celebration is over this year, the tiny tree can be the basis for a lifelong family tradition. Put the tree up every year and, as your child grows, let her decide how to decorate it.
2. Wrapped in swaddling clothes. If your church holds a Christmas program or indoor live nativity, volunteer to provide the “babe wrapped in swaddling clothes,” along with Mary and Joseph. A real baby adds depth to your church family’s celebration and will make a memorable experience for your family, too, with little effort required on your part.
Not quite up to going out? Recreate the scene of that very first Christmas on a smaller scale, of course, in your very own home. If possible, have a friend video record or photograph your portrayal to add to baby’s scrapbook.
Keep the spiritual meaning alive every year by making the family nativity a Christmas tradition. Bring the family together at the beginning of the holiday season and watch the video together to set the tone for your holiday celebrations.
3. Enjoy the eve. Spending Christmas Eve together at home allows you to focus on the quieter aspects of the holiday and what really matters. Hang a stocking with care and fill it with an ornament for each member of the family. Put the family stocking at the top of next year’s list of must-do traditions by surprising everyone with an ornament that reflects something you’ve done together during the previous year.
Before heading off to bed, share the Christmas story by candlelight. As Dad reads the story and Mom nurses baby, you’ll experience a special closeness and joy that you’ll want to repeat again and again.
So, if the usual holiday havoc has you thinking your newly expanded family will have to put the celebration on hold, think again. And make your newborn’s first Noel one you’ll all want to remember for years to come.

Nyoman Karsa – Wood Sculpter
“This has been such a great year for me, thanks to people from many different countries. Thanks for submitting so many testimonials about my work. May this year bring you all the happiness and good fortune that you have brought to my family.
“My name is Nyoman Karsa and I was born on December 31, 1967. I learned woodcarving from my father and the senior artists of my village, for example, the famous Wayan Winten. I have worked in my own art studio and shop since 1987.
“I usually carve sculptures from ebony, suar, crocodile, and hibiscus woods. Each of the woods has specific characteristics of color, durability, and aroma. Ebony comes from Sulawesi, while the others grow locally. Mass media and the everyday traditional lifestyle of our environment and community are the sources of my inspiration. Some of my pieces deal with traditional dances, the stories of Ramayana and Mahabharata, sports, animals, and abstract figures.
“When creating a sculpture, I first see it in my mind, making an image of how it would look on a log or a piece of wood. I make a draft on the wood piece, chiseling the initial form and detailing the parts, finishing it off by smoothing and polishing.
“I wish success for Novica and the world’s artists!”
Wood sculpture, ‘Buddha with a Baby’ Today’s Price: $104.95
Buddha gently cradles an infant in his arms as he meditates. By Nyoman Karsa, this exquisite sculpture expresses his personalized vision of the master. The baby is a symbol of a clean and sincere heart.
Wood relief panel, ‘Wild Horses’ Today’s Price: $197.95
Wind caresses their long manes as wild horses test the air with flaring nostrils. Nyoman Karsa captures their beauty, freedom and intelligence in a superb relief panel. It reveals his artistry as well as his deep love of nature.
Wood statuette, ‘Eagle Majesty’ Today’s Price: $307.95
Spreading mighty wings, a majestic eagle prepares to take to the sky. Nyoman Karsa depicts a regal bird, carving the powerful contours from suar wood. Fine details distinguish this masterful work, from the soft feathers to the intelligent eyes.
Wood sculpture, ‘One Heart’Today’s Price: $36.49
A couple leans close to gaze into one another’s eyes. Their bodies meld to form a heart. “This sculpture symbolizes eternal love,” Balinese artisan Nyoman Karsa confides. He carves the signature piece from sleek suar wood.
Wood sculpture, ‘Love of My Life’ Today’s Price 49.99
Blissfully in love, two figures merge, sharing one heart. This sensual, romantic sculpture is hand carved by Bali’s Nyoman Karsa. His sleek sense of artistic rhythm is admirable as slightly asymmetrical features accentuate the couple’s union.
Wood statuette, ‘Pilgrimage to the Sea’ Today’s Price: $332.95
With rippling muscles apparent beneath his soft coat, a powerful horse canters easily across the beach. Ocean waves lap at his hooves while the sea breeze caresses his mane and tail. Carving the taut contours from suar wood, Nyoman Karsa sculpts an unforgettable portrait.
Mahogany sculpture, ‘Asian Elephant’ Today’s Price: $152.95
Dramatically sculpted contours evoke the true power of the Indonesian elephant. This example arrives adorned in a regal cloth, reflecting Nyoman Karsa’s Balinese heritage. Hand-carved from mahogany wood, the statuette makes a rewarding acquisition for the worldly interior.
Says Karsa, “Outside is the natural world; the lives of animals depend on human behavior. Numerous hunters travel around the world endangering the lives of animals, while only a few people concern themselves with finding the best way to save them from entirely disappearing. By creating animal statuettes I offer an alternative to animal lovers.”
Wood statuette, ‘Wild Beauty’ Today’s Price: $237.95
Galloping at full force against the Balinese breeze, this extraordinary horse is an admirable testimony to equine beauty. Made Karsa captures the strength and elegance of the horse with admirable artistry as he carves its image from suar wood. The spirited animal features eyes full of life, and the wood’s natural grain accents the stallion’s impressive musculature. Karsa confers dynamism to the statuette, making the ideal complement to a personal space.
Please note that Karsa will not always be able to provide the same coloring and grain of the piece as seen in the picture. However, this master carver will always provide a piece of excellent quality when using suar wood.

Today’s Meditation – Basics
Today we are doing things a little different, we have had some emails from a couple people that really really wanted to meditate but kept saying that they “could NOT shut off their brain” So we have went back to basics today to try and help with that!
We also added a technique video and some more meditation supplies. Enjoy!
Namaste! TandS
Today’s Meditation
“Just close your eyes and count your breaths,” they say. How simple can it be? “Don’t think about anything else though. Just concentrate on your breathing.” Well, anyone who has tried this “simple” meditation knows that it just isn’t that easy.
There are many obstacles to this seemingly effortless task. Our minds tend to wander naturally. If we try to completely focus on anything for more than a few seconds, random thoughts take over. And breathing is boring; let’s face it. How can you concentrate on something so mundane when there are much more interesting things racing around in your head?
A typical session might go like this: I close my eyes, sit comfortably, and begin counting. Inhale one, inhale two, inhale… “Am I doing this right? I guess so, I’m already on… oh three.” Inhale four… “Now, am I supposed to start over at one or just keep going?” Inhale one, inhale two, inhale three, inhale four. “Wow, I’m really getting the hang of this. Oops.” Inhale one, inhale two… “Did I remember to pay the phone bill? I’m sure I did. I’m really good at staying on top of my bills. Not like Susan, she’s always… Darn, I did it again.” Inhale one, inhale two…
The good news is it does get better with practice. The bad news is it can still be a struggle for experienced meditaters, especially during busy or turbulent periods in one’s life. Luckily, there is more good news. There are some specific things you can do to help you focus and reduce the frustration in your meditation practice. In this article, I would like to offer three tips to help you with your practice. They are: Observe don’t control, be compassionate, and enjoy yourself.
First, don’t force or try to control your breathing. This is a mistake that a lot of beginners make. Many inexperienced meditaters consciously or unconsciously alter their breathing in an effort to focus on it. What results is an exaggerated and often irregular breathing pattern. This can actually inhibit your meditation rather than help it.
What you want to do is just “watch” your breathing. You don’t have to exert any additional effort at all. If you just wait and observe, you will breathe. Then, you can count. Of course, we all know this but many people still find themselves forcing it. If you catch yourself controlling your breaths, just gently remind yourself that it’s not necessary and then wait for the next breath to come naturally.
This brings me to the next tip, compassion. In this case I mean for yourself in your meditation practice. As we’ve been discussing, it’s not an easy thing to do to concentrate on one’s breath. It’s very important not to scold yourself when your mind wanders or you catch yourself controlling your breathing. If you think about it, the time you would spend reprimanding yourself for breaking your focus is just more time away from your meditation. It is best to softly bring yourself back to your practice as soon as you notice you’re wavering. Don’t get down on yourself and start thinking, “I can’t do this. This is never going to work for me.” These negative thoughts do nothing to help your practice and waste valuable time. Be compassionate. Just brush it off and return to your meditation.
Another way to look at these wanderings is to realize that they are an important part of your progression. Meditation is a skill. And like most skills, it requires practice. A baseball player doesn’t step into the batter’s box for the first time and start hitting home runs. He makes mistakes and corrections, and improves over time. He can then gauge his progress by the reduction of errors. Even after he is an experienced batsman, he will still strike out more often than he would like. But his hits should increase as well.
In your meditation practice, your mind will likely wander more in the beginning. But don’t give up. It will get better. Just like the baseball player, you will realize fewer mistakes over time and you will learn to recover from them more quickly. Sure, you will still have challenges and even slumps from time to time but you will also have more successes.
The final tip I would like to offer is to find enjoyment in your practice. Even though it may be tough at times, daily meditation can greatly enhance your life. Don’t rate yourself and expect to progress or improve to a particular degree or within a particular time frame. Unlike baseball, mediation is a life-long experience. Remember, this is your time. Let it be your oasis not a chore. No matter what else is going on in your life, your meditation time can be your escape. As a Zen master once said, “It’s just you and your breath and then it’s just your breath.” Breathe in, breathe out, and forget about the world around you. Even when you’re busy or preoccupied with some problem, even if you can only find ten or fifteen minutes to be alone with your breath, enjoy it.
I hope these tips will help you to enhance your meditation experience. They have certainly proved to be invaluable in my own practice over the years. Of course I still struggle from time to time with the very same issues we’ve discussed here. But through observing rather than controlling, being compassionate to myself when I falter, and enjoying my special time alone; I have made my life fuller and happier.
Meditation Basics
As it says in the introduction, this is a portion of ”On Solid Ground – A Practical Look at an Ancient Practice” that I could not include due to the size of the file. In any event, I decided to release it as a single. Mediation skills can be a great asset in your personal and spiritual life. Relaxation techniques are used extensively in several ways to impove our standard of living. This is my take on the basics of meditation. I hope you enjoy it! Adrian.

Teresa Rucos Story
“I love Brazilian crafts with their many native American and African influences. My pieces are conceptual, and I try to express all my feelings and love for my work. It’s great to be able to share my country’s culture with you.
“I work from home, but participate in art exhibits. Even though my work has won awards, I continue working from home, which brings me a great deal of satisfaction. I enjoy it so much.
“I was born in Teresopolis. From the time I was a girl, I liked art and never stopped creating things. I painted a lot and took courses in painting, watercolor, studio classes with live models and several other courses. I learned little by little.
“In 1998, I began working in sculpture and found it easy, because I had a foundation in drawing. In the beginning, my inspiration came from nature and from models. Later on, I began creating from my own ideas, thoughts and feelings, and also let the materials that I know and use inspire me. Now I am freer, as I express my thoughts and let my ideas flow in my work.
“I am very happy to show my creations to the world through Novica. My work will be a little better known, and I look forward to seeing your reactions to it.”
Quartz statuette, ‘Purity of an Angel’ Today’s Price:WAS $164.99 >NOW $148.49 On Sale!
by Guena (Brazil)
Sculpted from the purity of transparent white quartz, an angel keeps a vigil of peace. Guena presents a beautiful image of the heavenly being. Known as a purifier, quartz fosters the proper channeling of positive force. In the spiritual realm, it is used to synthesize energies, removing unnecessary distractions and facilitating meditation.
Guena Quote
“Nowadays I travel throughout Brazil in search of crystals from Bahia, emeralds from Minas Gerais, agates from Rio Grande do Sul, and many other naturally occurring wonders. I continuously learn new techniques and craft different products. I realize I have experienced a great personal transformation. Although many times difficult, I have learned that the path of an artisan is a path without return in which a person experiences beauty to the maximum, as well as moments of singular freedom.
Ceramic candleholder, ‘Tree of Life’ Decoration on sale > $76.46 (was $84.95)
by Alberto Aparicio Canchari (Andes)
Ochre and terracotta tones underscore the drama in this delightful candleholder/decoration. Modeled of ceramic and painted by hand, Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus center a composition of stars, spheres, doves and flowers. Alberto Aparicio Canchari crafts an exuberant design known as the “Tree of Life.”
“I’ve been a ceramist since I was a child, as my parents taught me the craft. Later, I tried to develop my own pieces with a personal style. My main purpose is giving life to my creations, and I’ve achieved this through the expressions of their faces, aiming to reflect daily attitudes, Peruvian country scenes, even protests – and I’m satisfied and content. In the workshop I work full-time with my wife.
“Most of our pieces are hand-molded, as only the weight of the hand can give the right shape. We use clay and simple tools; paints and pigments are blended together to produce the required hues, like that of the skin. All are made to resist high temperatures. The process starts from when we mold the pieces, then we paint them, fire them, and at the end, just polish them.

Today's Meditation - Relaxation
Today’s Meditation – Relaxation
Today’s quotation:
The road to happiness lies in two simple principles: find
what interests you and that you can do well, and put your whole soul into it—every bit of energy and ambition and natural ability you have.
John D. Rockefeller III
Meditation and Relaxation
In today’s world people are just go go go and often do not take to breathe, de-stress, and relax! This is even worse through the holiday season!
So today I am focusing on meditations on relaxation as well as relaxation techniques as everyone deserves a break each day even if it is only for a couple of minutes!
If you’re thinking meditation means twisting your body into an uncomfortable position and uttering “oohs” and “omms” for an hour, guess again.
Any repetitive action can be a source of meditation, says Herbert Benson, MD, author of The Relaxation Response and director emeritus of Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
This includes walking, swimming, painting, knitting — any activity that helps keep your attention calmly in the present moment.
When you catch yourself thinking about your job, your relationship or your lifelong to-do list, experts say to simply let the thought escape, and bring your mind back the repetition of the activity. Try it for just 5 to 10 minutes a day and watch stress levels drop.
There are many meditation, breathing and relaxation techniques that you can learn to use to promote relaxation and relieve stress. The deeper and slower that you breathe the more relaxed and sedated you will become. This is the basis of Meditations!
Sleeping with the window open will help the air to circulate in your bedroom and fill your lungs with fresh air. Relaxation techniques will help your body to wind down and prepare for the sleep cycle.
Try this meditation technique when you first get into bed:
1.Take a deep breath.
2.Breathe in through your nose and visualize the air moving down to your stomach.
3.As you breathe in again silently count to four.
4.Purse your lips as you exhale slowly.
5.This time count silently to eight.
6.Repeat this process six to ten times.
The results of this breathing technique are immediate. You will feel your shoulders and arms relaxing. Your chest will feel less constricted and you will feel less stress and tension.
Practice this breathing technique on a daily basis so that it becomes a natural routine for you and helps to induce natural sleep.
As well as using breathing techniques to encourage natural sleep you can try several relaxation exercises. The goal is to relax your mind and let your body unwind and surrender to sleep.
Try the following relaxation exercise/meditation before you get into bed:
1.Lay on your back on the floor with your feet slightly apart, your hands by your sides, and your palms turned upward.
2.Close your eyes and concentrate on every part of your body.
3.Begin at the top of your head and work your way down to your toes.
4.Start by feeling your forehead tense, then your eyes, face, and jaw.
5.Tense and release each muscle group, such as your shoulders and neck.
6.Give attention to each area of your body from the top of your head, down through the trunk of your body, down along your legs, and ending at the tip of your toes.
7.Stay in this relaxed condition for a few minutes. Concentrate on your breathing and let all worry and stress dissipate from your mind and body. Make sure that your breathing comes from deep in your stomach and flows slowly and evenly.
8.Stretch slowly before standing.
The above exercise will tell your body and mind that it is okay to settle down, leaving behind thoughts of worry, fear, and stress.
There are many more techniques and exercises available to promote deep breathing and relaxation. You will have to find what method works best for you.
Your goal is to recognize that deep breathing and concentrated relaxation are tools available for you to achieve natural sleep as well are the tools of MOST meditations.
Is your mind too talkative to meditate?
Try creating a peaceful visualization, or “dreamscape.” To start, simply visualize anything that keeps your thoughts away from current tensions. It could be a favorite vacation spot, a fantasy island, that penthouse in New York City — or something “touchable,” like the feel of your favorite silk robe or cozy sweater.
The idea is to take your mind off your stress, and replace it with an image that evokes a sense of calm. The more realistic your daydream — in terms of colors, sights, sounds; even touch and feel — the more relaxation you’ll experience. And with deep relaxation comes meditations like the one I have below!!
Meditation to Relax
This meditation is to allow the mind to relax
To relax the mind
We need to let go of stresses
That is causing friction within
As we begin to relax the mind
Try to visualize
That you are sitting on the banks of a stream
And I am a peaceful observer
And the stream is flowing with the thoughts in my mind
Some positive some negative
Some necessary some unnecessary
But I relax
And just watch the thoughts flow by
Like a stream
I watch these thoughts
And I realize that I am separate from them
And I am relaxed knowing that
I just let them flow by
And do not get attached to the thoughts
Sitting on the bank of the river
Like an observer
I can experience a deep relaxation
For I do not need to worry
About each and every thought in my mind
I let the negative thoughts pass
And enjoy the positive ones
And I am the observer of my mind
And as I am the observer
I choose to relax with positive feelings
And the more these relaxed feelings in my heart
I notice the gradual change of thoughts
The change from the polluted negative stream
To a clear flowing stream of positive thoughts
Thoughts such as that I am relaxed and peaceful
No matter what thoughts are in my mind
Or in the mind of the others
For I am a relaxed peaceful observer
Calm concentrated detached
Today’s Affirmations:
The time to relax is when you don’t have time for it. ~Attributed to both Jim Goodwin and Sydney J. Harris
Sometimes it’s important to work for that pot of gold. But other times it’s essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow. ~Douglas Pagels, These Are the Gifts I’d Like to Give to You
The mark of a successful man is one that has spent an entire day on the bank of a river without feeling guilty about it. ~Author Unknown
I give myself permission to relax
I am at peace
I am meditation
I trust in the process of life
I release the stress of the day
I am relaxation

Love your garden? Love statues? Have a beautiful garden to decorate?
Then this is your site! Ever wondered why we love our outdoor spaces? Well I have often wondered that myself and have spent a lot of time thinking about it, and I think the biggest reason is safety and control! We always feel safe at home don’t we? It’s our haven away from the crazy world we live in.
And have you ever thought about why we spend so much time making our homes, and outdoor spaces warm and beautiful? I believe it’s because we can control those environments, and will spend all our time making them safe and comforting, so we have a special place to get away too! I know I do that with my house and yard, because they are mine and I can control what happens there, where I can’t control the rest of the world!
Knowing this can make you happy and will bring a smile to your lips, every time you look around at what you have done for your soul!
ACCENTS IN THE GARDEN can give song to your soul, when you look at all their beautiful heavenly products for you! Let’s look at what Accents in the Garden are all about…They say to you…..
Welcome to Accents in the Garden, your resource for garden and home decor. Browse our line of custom-made products of cast stone, aged stone, Italian marble, fiberstone and fiberglass.
Offering religious, angel, cherub or animal statues, garden benches, water fountains, bird baths, planters and iron furniture – you’re sure to find something for your home or garden!
Aged Stone:
Aged stone is a fiberstone mixture of sand and stones cast into the surface using terrazzo-like techniques. The surface is then sandblasted and chemically treated, followed by an acid stain to give the appearance of aged stone in our garden statues, gargoyles, planters, urns, and vases. Since it is reinforced with a fiberglass backing, it remains light-weight and less fragile than concrete.
Fiberstone or Fiberglass:
By mastering the art of casting our garden statues, gargoyles, planters, urns, and vases in fiberglass resin we manage to retain all the detail or the original with the added benefits of less weight, greater strength, and a product suitable for indoor and outdoor garden decor use.

Italian Marble:
Italians have always been known for their remarkable art and design. In addition to their original sculptures and other fine art they are also known for their detailed marble castings. Accents in the Garden now offers these beautiful Italian statues for your home. We hope you enjoy our selection as much as we do.
How are they made? This fine statuary is created by reconstituting real Carrara marble (approximately 70% marble and 30% resin). This allows for exceptional detail that would be very difficult (if not impossible) to sculpt from a solid block of marble. Some sculptures are supported by a genuine black Carrara marble base to give it the elegance it deserves..
There are so many ways to decorate your outdoor haven and make it your special place to re-treat too, I will try to help you with a few ideas.
1/ Something I love to do is go outside at night and see my large pond all lit up, and my fish swimming around! How awesome is that? It gives me so much pleasure to see what I have created, and enjoy it to the fullest! So lighting is a great addition to your haven.
2/ Plants- Plants- Plants!! You can never have enough greenery and live flowers in your haven, so load up and make your yard very special with lots of color!
3/ Bring the Birds in! I spend a lot of time watching my special feathered visitors, so have bird houses in your trees and enjoy the show!
4/ Your haven needs furniture! You can place benches and chairs around your yard, at special places you enjoy like a pond or in among your flower garden. You will find yourself drawn there often!
5/ And of course we can’t forget about the best feature and that is water!! You really need to have a water feature, where you can sit and hear the water running. In my pond I have a high rock bed that the water runs down, and into the pond and OMG!! there is nothing like the sound of water!! I can sit there for hours just daydreaming!
6/ Something that really adds to your haven is STATUES!
I love ANGELS & CUPIDS! BUDDAH’S are awesome too, I have a laughing Buddah and smile every time I look at him. There are many beautiful statues out there and you will feel your body tingle when you find the one you should have, so touch them and spend some time quietly standing with each one. Trust me you will know!
When making your special haven use your imagination and what YOU are attracted to, after all it’s your haven and you want it to reflect who you are, not me or your neighbors!! The most important thing to remember is to have fun, make it your own and spend all your free time relaxing in your special place.
